dc.descriptionOnly about 10% of known Myxomycete species have been cultured from spore to spore. This paper reviews the work done to date and the importance of cultures for research. It provides a synopsis of successful culture methods, details on how to induce stasis in cultures and information on how to combat some possible sources of error. The purpose of the paper is to encourage other investigators to attempt agar culture of myxomycetes.-
